TIM CALLAHAN

CEO, MANAGING PARTNER

Tim is a seasoned executive, entrepreneur and developer with over 25 years of experience developing, financing and operating energy assets. Tim was a co-founder of PrairieGold Solar, a successful developer of solar projects in the US, and Inspiration Mobility, a private equity-backed electric vehicle fleet and charging management company. Tim also served as Chief Financial Officer of Inspiration Mobility, Congruex, Inc., and Hawkeye Energy Holdings, a $1 billion biofuels company that sold over 500 million gallons annually of biofuels produced in 5 plants in the Midwestern US. He was also a Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisition group at investment bank Credit Suisse where his focus was general industrial and energy transactions. Tim holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from the University of Colorado-Boulder.       

CHARLES JURCZYNSKI

PRINCIPAL

Charles has over a decade of experience in the financing and development of sustainable infrastructure projects, holding prior roles at Generate Capital, Low Carbon, and Lightsource bp. At Generate, he financed EV leases, C&I batteries, and community solar portfolios, built the development and construction function overseeing community solar, energy storage, fiber, and microgrids assets, and supported on post-acquisition platform value creation strategy. He was part of the investment team at Low Carbon and began his career in infrastructure in the Structured Finance team at Lightsource. Prior to Generate, Charles co-founded HC3 Energy, a VPP optimization platform that was incubated at Powerhouse and eventually sold to Arcadia Power, and has continued to advise climatetech startups looking to scale their businesses through project development, utilizing non-dilutive capital sources.

Charles is an alumnus of London Business School and the University of Toronto. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two sons, and in his spare time avidly follows Arsenal's Premier League matches and tries to keep up his road cycling.      

MADISON MCCOY

MANAGER

Madison is a Civil Engineer specialized in climate-resilient infrastructure design. Beginning her career at Stantec, she managed the design and construction of critical infrastructure fortification and adaptation projects across New York City. Throughout her MBA, Madison worked in corporate finance and industrial scale-up private equity at PMB Capital, a European private merchant bank. She also worked in energy transition project finance at IonicBlue, an Energy-as-a-Service provider and financier. Madison holds an MBA from London Business School and a BE in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and ISI Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).  

CLAUDIA YANG

ASSOCIATE

Claudia has over 7 years of experience in finance and started her career in quantitative investment management. As an Associate Portfolio Manager at Dimensional Fund Advisors, she managed small- and micro-cap equity strategies with assets totaling $15B and worked on designing and implementing sustainability screens. After receiving her MBA, Claudia was on the structured finance team of AMP Americas, a pure-play dairy RNG developer and operator that produces and markets ultra-low carbon intensity natural gas. Claudia holds both an MBA and a BA from the University of Chicago.

JULIAN BISHOP

ASSOCIATE

Julian has 5 years of energy transition experience, beginning his career as an Analyst at Marathon Capital where he supported M&A and capital raising for renewable players in Latin America. He then worked on structured/project finance at Intersect Power, raising >$2B across the capital stack and development cycle to stand up a portfolio of utility-scale PV+BESS projects (2.2 GW/2.4 GWh) in CAISO and ERCOT. Most recently, he worked in strategic finance at AIR COMPANY, supporting commercial and fundraising (Series B and FOAK) efforts. Julian holds a BA in Sustainable Development from Columbia University.

JASON SCOTT

CHAIRMAN

Chairman Jason is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Spring Lane Capital and concurrently serves as a Senior Advisor at Renewable Resource Group, a Los Angeles–based asset manager focused on sustainable agriculture, water resources, renewables and other natural resources. He also co-chairs a network of family offices investing in Cleantech, Renewables and other Environmental Opportunities (called the CREO Syndicate). He has been active in climate and sustainable investing, and policy since the late 1990’s through roles with Acumen Fund, Generation Investment Management, Encourage Capital various advocacy groups. He serves on the board of Encourage Capital, Clean Energy for America, and the Frankfurt Zoological Society-US.
